Prism Microwave is developing and producing RF conditioning products for wireless networks. Its main customers are the biggest base station suppliers in the world. Prism Microwave is utilizing new radio technology to offer smaller and lighter products to its customers.
Prism Microwave is following a growth strategy in Finland and moved to a new premises in the Pilot Business Park in Oulu region.
During year 2009 Prism Microwave made a significant investment to Finland and opened offices in Helsinki and Oulu regions. “We have now strengthened our operations in Oulu region by expanding our RF laboratory there”, says General Manager Mr Vesa Pekkarinen.
Prism Microwave employs about 50 people globally. Locations are Dallas and Naples in USA, Suzhou in China and Oulunsalo and Espoo in Finland. Volume production is outsourced to contract manufacturing. Finland sites are focusing on R&D and sales.
