Our Story

Background

Today we are a technology leader in radio frequency (RF) filtering serving customers rapidly and flexibly across the globe, but like many successful technology companies we started out with little more than an idea. For us this idea is smaller, lighter and smarter solutions that make our customers more competitive. 
 
With locations in the Europe (Helsinki, Oulu, Stockholm) and China (Zhongshan, HQ) we have come a long way from our humble beginnings with the RF filter service business in Naples, Florida that we started in 2007.
 

Key Beliefs

Despite the major transformation from a small start-up in Florida to the international company we are today, our key beliefs have remained the same: problem solving with the customer in mind, open and honest business practices & communication and the importance of delivering environmentally sound solutions. 
 

Techie Mindset

The key beliefs above are all aspects of our culture, just like the fact that we take pride in the RF knowledge and R&D capability we have. Most of us are engineers, and we get crazy excited over technology, but what sets us apart (we like to think) is our ability to stop and listen to customers, partners and others that might have a different view to the issues we are solving. 
 

International and Local for our Customers

We are a truly international company and our operating model is built upon strong local decision-making and leadership practices. This we believe is not only sensible for us, but for our customers in particular. We want working with us to be easy and successful, and to achieve this our local approach is of value.

At Tongyu Technology we are a diverse, and international group of people, reflecting the global market place that we serve, with personal interests from restoring old cars to orienteering. However, what we share are our common goals for Tongyu Technology: making our customers more competitive utilizing our products, regardless of physical location or role in the company. This has been, and is a main ingredient in our growth and success.
